Hi, I am Vic aged 46 and was diagnosed with SVT 2 years ago. Its been a difficult journey but I think I am getting there slowly. If I can help anyone who is newly diagnosed or has any questions about the condition and living with it, just ask.

Hi Vic - welcome! Lovely to have you here, glad that you're doing well. Slow and steady, that's the winner.

Hi Vic, I have a few questions please 😊 I was diagnosed nearly 10 years ago and still currently living with the condition. Can I just ask what treatment you've had if you've had any and how frequently do you suffer from any 'episodes'? Many thanks! Sophie x
Hi Sophie, I started out taking Bisoprolol once a day which to be honest I had the most horrendous side effects from - made me feel depressed and exhausted all the time. Consultant them changed me over to Adizem which, fingers crossed, I am doing OK on. I have an episode maybe once every few weeks but luckily haven't needed hospital treatment for about 18months. The ablation was suggested but I am a bit of a wimp so have declined that for now. I find the whole thing really irritating and rather annoying but am getting used to it. Vic x
