Kefir drink - sustained improvement in psoriasis on legs, face, ears and scalp. I've been taking 1/2 pint of Polish Kefir drink (bought in Supermarket, 2 euro a litre) most days for 8 months. Sone days I also take a Yakult drink. No other changes, no meds, no creams I've seen a huge improvement - almost completely eradicated. Anyone else using Kefir to the same effect? It seems to validate the medical opinions emerging that 'gut health' is closely related to skin health. Would appreciate feedback from anyone else on this path?
Kind regards to all,
Tom Cardiff

Hi Tom, I will definitely try it. Sometimes things work for you and sometimes they don't but trying something new is always worth the effort. Mega Oil - a combination of Omega 3 /6 and 9 helped me. I have it with my breakfast. Omega 3 acts as an anti - inflammatory. In England you would probably use Udo's Oil. I also found alkaline water aided in my recovery from Chronic Fatigue and psoriasis.
Very good so Turin. I've used Udo's probiotics. On balance, I attribute most success to Kefir. Even since my post above, my large scaly patches on both lower legs has continue to improve. Both legs are 99% normal. My digestive system is also hurdle improved. There are expensive Kefir preparations but we are fortunate to have a strong Polish community where I live and their own Kefir products are authentic and very inexpensive.Best of luck with it.
Hi tomcard, My aunt has had a lot of success taking a daily kefir drink also, and has suggested I try it for my psoriasis. Was the kefir you use/used made from cows milk or goats milk? She uses a goats-milk one, but it's expensive.. the supermarkets only seem to stock cows-milk kefir.
I use polish Kefir - cow's milk I believe. Ìt is not expensive - less than €2 per litre and I get 4 days from 1 litre. I also take Yakult and a bio natural yoghurt most days. In my case, this probiotics regime has been transformative and I don't use any other meds or creams, sprays etc. I wish you all the best with this.Tom
