So over the years I have tried many oral psoriasis treatments which have eventually become immune to, back on methotrexate for the 3rd time 20mg once a week, prescribed this by a rheumatologist due to recently finding out I now have psoriatic arthritis. Think it's making me feel a bit down and also quite nauseous. Was reading about other side effects and it mentioned a persistent cough. Would love to hear others experiences and side effects etc. Look forward to hearing from you guys.

3rd attempt on methotrexate
I took Folic Acid on the days I didn't take my Methotrexate, this is supposed to help with the nausea.
The NICE guide provides more details on the drug: bnf.nice.org.uk/drug/methot...
Mtx didn't work for my P and I am now on Humira injections. Good luck with things

Hi there.
I just joined this community so sorry for delay. I’ve been on methotrexate for about 9 months (recently lowered to 15mg) and am convinced that it’s directly contributing to me being unwell. Recurring colds, sinusitis, swollen glands etc.
I’m now actively looking into how an anti-inflammation diet (gluten and casei free) can help. As well as vitamin supplements. But it’s early days.
Eventually if it doesn’t get better I’ll try another med.
Good luck!
