I'm good postle, how about you ? My noggin the nog saga continues, saw a very apologetic GP last week , couldn't do enough for me, saw the senior Physio too, who again was very helpful. We've decided to go down the stronger pain relief route for 5 months, the if no improvement we'll do the spinal jabs . If those fail the it's surgery, but I'm hoping to delay that's as long as possible . Gabapentin was mentioned , GP is phoning me Thursday to discuss . You ever tried it ? X

You've got your team lined up then!  Half the battle eh?  And having a plan in place, that must help too.  Hope you get a really good result with the new approach.

No, I've never tried Gabapentin .... I think it's taken for neuropathy which I do get in my feet occasionally so some have suggested it to me.  But I don't need it really.  Is it a pain killer?  I guess if it can calm 'buzzing' nerves then it would be.

We're in the process of moving house ... it's all-consuming!  I always think things are going to be easy .... ha ha ha ha etc.

Hi phillylou, I went on gabbapentin, for nerve pain,I had a really bad reaction to it,I was on it a couple of monthes before I realized it was the meds not me,but then I've heard people on it say it's fine, but instead of weaning myself off it,I just stopped taking it which is wrong,I still have some of the effects of that.
