my daughter has a ulcer on her vaginal area...could this come from stress...and if so where do you find that information...thanks

I'm still pretty new to the BD scene, but last fall, I had two ulcers in that region and I'm completely convinced it was brought on by extreme stress. I've read that stress can cause Behcet's flares and I'm living proof that this can be the case. My doctors tested for herpes virus but that came back negative (and my doctor wasn't surprsised due to how they looked). Hope this helps.

Hi firstly does your daughter suffer with BD? If so this is a common and decisive symptom. If not best to see a GP and find out what kind of ulcer this. If it. Is due to BD then there are creams, steroid inhalers, sprays etc but mostly on prescription . Hope this answers your question
