Taking a pill late (combined contraceptive pill)

I'm currently taking the combined 21 day pill (microgynon). I'm in my first week and took a pill 19 hours late. During that time I had unprotected sex. Am I still protected from pregnancy? Do I need to take a morning after pill?

Dear vaporverse,

Keep taking the pills as directed. There's no need to use additional contraception for the rest of the pack.

The indication for additional emergency contraception is when you have missed 2 or more pills in the first week of a pack and had unprotected sex in the previous 7 days. From what you've posted, this advice doesn't apply to you.
