Missed combined pill

Hi there,

Earlier today I sadly realised that I forgot to take my combined pill (Yasmine) since two days, and I'm wondering about the risk of pregnancy. I'm usually taking it at 9PM every day, on a 21-day bases (Yasmine combine pill, 21 days will pill, 7 days of break with period).

The last one I took was on Tuesday at 9PM. I had sex with my partner the Wednesday morning. Then I forgot the one of Wednesday evening, and Thursday evening. When I realised, I called my gynaecologist, who advised me to take another one right away and start a new blister.

I basically forgot to take the two last ones of my blister (only two were remaining) after what I was supposed to start the normal 7-days break.

I've read on the NHS website that starting a new blister right away is the right thing to do, but I wanted to get extra advise to properly assess the risks.

After doing the math, it's equivalent to have missed 1.5 pill, covering Wednesday 9PM to Thursday 9PM (one) and Thursday 9PM to Friday 15PM (0.7).

What should I do? Should I carry one with a new blister?

The chance of egg release is low but not zero. you correctly have run 2 packs together and should continue now for the three weeks and then have a pill free week. I would do a pregnancy test in 3 weeks as the pill can mask the signs of early pregnancy.
