That's not a question with a specific answer. Bacterial STDs increase the risk of infertility. The longer they go untreated, the greater the risk of infertility. Factors such as the overall health of the infected person, the site of the infection, and the particular strain all play a role.

Think of it this way. Driving drunk increases the risk of getting into a car crash. We don't ask, "How long can I drive drunk before getting in a car crash?" If you have an STD, treat it as soon as possible. While your there you can speak with your medical provider about the impact on reproduction.
