About 4 months ago i took a std test and everything was clear and now recently ive i just had some irritation in the penile tip its settled down now and clear but im constantly worried is it a std or what do std tests show dormant viruses? Ps ever since i took that test i havent had any form of intercourse at all

Don't worried.Go to STIs clinic again pls,the doctor will see at the penile tip he will know how to treat it.

Irritation inside the penis could represent an infection, but could also be just a reaction to soap/shower gel or washing powder.

If you have had no sexual contact (including oral sex) since your last check up then it is unlikely to be an STI. Bear in mind you can still catch things from a blow job.

If you want reassurance, best get it checked by visiting your local Sexual Health / GUM clinic (bashh.org/clinics).
