Growth scan - 31 weeks

Hi everyone

I had my 31 week mw app today. She measured my fundal height and was at 29cm, 3 weeks ago I measured 28 so she is concerned about growth.

I’m obviously panicking now! I’ve done a lot of googling and I can see that the fundal height measurements aren’t always accurate

Have any of you had growth scans? Was everything ok and how quickly after your mw appointment did they get you in for the scan? I’m sure my mw mentioned something about within 3 days but it’s all a bit of a blur!

I had 4 growth scans. The first was because they thought I was measuring small, the next 3 were because they realised the baby was actually measuring big. My bump measurement was always just below normal but inside I was growing a little chubster 😊

A scan is really a more reliable way to tell so hope they get you an appointment soon xx

I have been getting regular growth scans due to GD and my baby is measuring on big side but my fundal measurements say im bang on so I'm not sure how accurate they are. Try not to worry ive seen a lot of people commenting on other sites to say they were sent for scans due to measurements and baby is measuring absolutely fine. Think you should be quick getting scan appointment depending on your hospital
