My little miracle Austin is almost 12 weeks old, and aside from the normal challenges, we are plagued by the witching hour!
Anyone else had / have this?!
It’s normally around 6/7pm, and lasts up to an hour. There’s no comforting him, he kicks and screams. The best thing we’ve found is turning off excessive stimulus and letting him lie down and get it out of his system.
I asked the health visitor who said he’ll grow out of it soon...
Just wondered if anyone had any tips?

Have you got the Wonder Weeks app? I found it really good as tells you about leaps your baby goes through and when. It’s pretty spot on and it tells you the signs and why they act like that and how to help them through it. Also helps you to know it won’t last forever xx
Yes we definitely had this and he did just grow out of it.
It was at its worst between 8 and 14 weeks and since then gradually went away, although if he’s not in his pyjamas by 7.15 at the latest it does reoccur.
I did some reading as it was so out of character for our chilled our baby boy.All the books said that it’s complete overstimulation from life at this young age and it just all gets too much for them.
We did the same as you are doing and just rocked and soothed until he calmed down.
