What is pelvic floor therapy?

I had my first and the first time I had sex after was ok but now it’s starting to feel uncomfortable, maybe a bit painful.

Are you still breastfeeding? My gynecologist told me that I might find sex uncomfortable while still breastfeeding because the hormones mean you don't produce as much secretion as usual. If that's the problem then a bit of lube will help.

I was talking to Jess in the post below about pelvic floor therapy and exercises. It's definitely worth doing and improving control of the pelvic floor muscles (not just strengthening them but being able to relax them as well) can help with painful sex if you're tensing up down there xxx

That might explain some things. Yeah I’m still breastfeeding. I will try the exercises. Thank you!
