Hello there .. i was b12 deficient 2 years ago ... Since i m using 1500 mcg b12 wth b complex tablet.. now i m 5 mnth pregnant.. should i continue ths .. i am afraid i read somewhere tht taking high dose of b12 in pregnancy causes autism in baby.. is it true i m vry depressed now..

Well, I'm not a health expert but I think you misread something... B12 or any other vitamin helps in the process and don't really create any defects as far as I've read. You're on B12 because you have a deficiency, so you do need to maintain the optimum level within you even during gestation for the baby to get it... it helps in developing the nervous system. However, it's best to talk to the doc about it, if he/she gives it a go on don't bother to ponder on it.
