I like to watch sporting events on TV. London is too far away for me but I may consider going to the Commonwealth games when they come to Glasgow in Scotland in 2014. If I had the option my preference would be to drive as Glasgow is only about 20 min drive from where I stay.

The London olympics will be a much bigger event so I think either driving or using public transport would depend on how close or far you stay from the venue?

Do you have a blue badge Nigel?

yes I have a Blue Badge, and have already booked disable parking for the events, but it might be less ago to go on the train

If you do go on the train it may be best to unbook the disabled parking space, disabled solidarity and all that
