Orthotics

🤔I’ve wondered if ‘orthotic/compression’ stockings would be helpful for swollen legs..but so far haven’t made enquiries.
I found this link..
I tried compression stocking but too difficult to get off. I now have compression socks, short ones. Still difficult to remove but preferable to Orthotic insoles or braces. I can't wear slippers so I wear ankle boots which stop my foot roll. Compression socks have open toes which helps too.
Hi, I was also referred to Orthotics. I am 40 and have FA. I still walk with a rollator but my knees have been so painful. I just went for my 2nd appointment today and have these for both legs. They are quite clumber some but my walking so far is pain free and they are easy enough to get on and off. Obviously it's early days but I would say def accept the referral ...............healthandcare.co.uk/knee-su...
I suffer from CVI and wear knee high compression stockings. I agree they are difficult to get on and off - that is their purpose - but having had to wear them for quite a few years, have got used to them. I have tried the toe-less ones, but found they roll back and are not comfortable.
