It was brilliant as usual - thank you all xx
Where can I watch the recording of this. I always seem to find out the day after the session.
Oh I missed it is our speech and balance affected by COVID 19 if infected
It’s likely to depend on the individual as to how Covid would affect ataxia symptoms, or any underlying health problems.
Thankyou for replying I thought that would be the case I had a severe case of vertigo some five or so years back I have ca (unknown cause )the vertigo lasted three months was very debilitating and on onset took my balance and speech I regained these slowly but to degrees but very frightening I don’t know what caused it but I had heard speech and balance could be affected with ataxia Thankyou for clarifying take care😊
My issues started in 1996 in college, a brain tumour, multiple surgeries. Developed severe vertigo while asleep 5 or 6 nights a week for about 3 years. Calmed in 2009 following my last surgery and radiotherapy. The vertigo has stopped but it was absolutely horrible. Still have severe lightheadedness and have the odd attack. All the best.
