I've been to a few of these around the country in the UK and have found them welcoming and a great way to meet people and share experiences. I email them beforehand with a few lines about myself and my Ataxia. I'll try and attend the next Newcastle one and hopefully see you there Beryl 😀

These and the Ataxia UK Friday virtual activity sessions have been particularly useful in these lockdowns x
