I too suffer from eyesight problems,optitions says my oil glands are not working as they should be under the eyelids. have got eye drops (CLINITAS GEL).

Is this the Ataxia causing this as I have had to start using I drops. The doctor said it’s not working.
I've been told I have dry eyes due to not blinking as often as i should (been told by a neuro-opthomologist it's due to my ataxia, therefore I use lubricant eyedrops (over the counter) 2 to 3 times daily. Of course, people with and without ataxia can have dry eyes!
heavy shortsighted, nearing one eye 9.00 and 10 the other eye, over the last 22 years (reflex lowered), and nobody in my family shortsighted (only mild, on adulthood, also ataxia, but much milder than mine).annoying, but one gets used to...worse are itchy eyes allergy...the weather on one hand cannot wait till warmer, on the other getting my supply of antihist. ready...Dry eyes both, often....
