Hi all, my neurologist talked the other day about an injection into the vein. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

What does he want to inject? Sounds like he wants to give you a drug or something by IV which would involve a drip or maybe its a one--time thing.... Some medications are only given t his way. Its more direct than a pill..
