I've self diagnosed myself as Idiopathic Cerebellar Ataxia Late Onset. Is there anyone else who professes as such? If so I'd like to penfriend them. I'm in Sydney, Australia.

I am also late onset genetic cerebellar ataxia, I was diagnosed about eight years ago. I do my best to keep fit , and I believe it is helping.

I am now sixty nine and balance and coordination is less than perfect, but apart from that I refuse to let it make any difference.

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for replying. I am late onset but it is Stroke based. You now have a penfriend in Sydney, Australia.

I too try to do plenty of exercise and exercise my brain as well with Mahjong on Mondays and playing board games on Thursdays.
