Attaxia
Hi,iwas also 50 when i was diagnosed,i knew all about cerebella ataxia as my older brother already had it before me,i have seen his decline and have decided to face it full on and tackle problems as they arise..my hubby passed away almost 4yrs ago and in that time i have become worse,i think it it was the grief, which i am still going through affected my ataxia. I can still walk,i use a stick and a motobillity scooter,i am very wobbly and worse when i am tired....wish you strength through this...Just to add my bro and i inherited this from our mother who also had this condition..
Hi teleen. I'm the only child and no one has heard of it in our family I was a aircraft engineer for 32 years. But thay say it's nothing to do with that. Thay are going to test my bloods again (genetic testing ). 🤔
Hi when the tests are done they should beable to tell you exactly what type of Ataxia you have, mine is Spino Cerebella Ataxia 2..shortened to SCA2,which is an inherited type, not all are, some are aquired and there are many forms,my type of course will be passed on to my children,i have 3 one of them has been tested and is not affected.
yes I would rather know I've asked the specialist about stem cell treatment too Ide try that it all seems to be in China
