Try before you buy and use a BHTA approved supplier. What features are important to you eg marouverbility or all terrain?

Thanks for your reply, Annasgonesailing. The chair is for my dad in the UK. Spoke to him last weekend and he thinks a power chair would be appropriate for him. I think he feels it will be easier to use out shopping, doesn't feel he needs to use a chair indoors yet but it would be useful in the future. They only have a small fiesta car so wasn't sure this would work. I have asked about them getting some professional advice but the last chap was thrown out of the house, dad doesn't have much tolerance!

Difficult situation!

Have a great day xx

How about an alber e fix as it would fit in the car

Hadn't come across this, thank you for the suggestion, will pass it on. Was told about a Power Glide which looks similar but not sure if available in UK.

Thanks again! X

Hi! I googled power chairs and found out that it's necessary to dismantle quite

a lot before transporting these chairs, batteries etc. If it has to fit in a small car,

even with the rear seats down, it might be awkward.

What about a boot sized power scooter? :-) xB
