Another little bump.

It’s been a while since I last posted. I am

once again in hospital, just another blip but the plan is already in place to hopefully resolve it. After a year on Benrazilumab, I am on the few percent of people who build up resistance to it and now it have stopped working. My eosinophils have shot back up and my FeNo is back up in the 100’s. I’m am currently receiving IV steroids and nebs to hopefully get a little control. And on Friday I go to the specialist clinic to be switched over to Mepolizumab. Because things have become out of control so quickly they are not waiting for the benra to flush out the system they are going straight over to mepo. I am grateful that it can be done quickly and not to have to the rough the rigmarole of panels etc to be approved.

Really sorry to hear you are having a nightmare time!! But glad that they are going to try you straight onto the next drug! I really hope it get things under control for you!! Take it easy!

Can I ask what your eosinophils have gone up to?

They went up to 1.1 within a week. They used to shoot up to 3.5/4 without steroids after a couple of weeks off them.
