At 17 my daughter had a number of chest infections and hospital admissions. Over a period of around a year she was diagnosed with eosinophil asthma and has had one of the highest feno counts the consultant has seen. She has been on steriods now for 2 years ( between 40mg and 20 mg) and every inhaler going but recently she has started dupulimab. After 3 injections her feno is normal and she can start to wean off the steriods. We are absolutely delighted that we have our daughter back to normal, not coughing and out of breath. Prior to 17 she had never had a chest infection and was totally healthy.
Can anyone advise how long the moon face might take to go and anything to help speed it up.
Also, is it possible that the asthma might go just as mysteriously as it started.
Thanks in advance
