Fostair etc - Fostair not effective - changed back to Seretide on a daily dose - quite sufficient along with Ventolin if required.

The same was the case with me. I was placed on fostair, from seretide, nearly 4 hrs ago, no discussion. It gave me terrible headaches and didn't clear my chest as well as seretide. Got back on seretide by shear luck. GP is doing everything to get me back on fostair, which according to literature on the net costs about £100 per year less.

I need some help on the issue. If my GP forces me back on fostair, what kind of appeal proceedure is there, because I'm sure he's going to do it soon. The headaches last a full 24 hrs and about once a week, thus that I can't go to work, and if I can't go to work I can't pay the rent. He said he would never put me on incapacity benefit because of it (I don't actually want to, I want to work). Obviously I'd get evicted. It really is that bad.

So, how do you appeal against it. What are ones rights? Despite the fact that he can't actually do this, he's telling me that he can. It's pure psychology to confuse and demoralise. Help.
