Hope some one from the forum might be able to help, just started my peak flow diary which i received from Asthma UK and i need to know if

1/ Would take your peak flow reading as soon has you wake up in the morning for an accurate reading.

or

2/ Have a shower get dressed and then take reading prior to taking preventive meds.

I am due to see Asthma nurse mid Jan and i would to give her the most accurate peak flow reads possible.

I do mine at the same time every morning and night, don't think it matter what you do first as long as it at round about the same time.

I always do mine first thing in the morning before I take meds then in the evening. If im bad I do a check before meds and about 10 mintues after to see if meds make a difference.

As long as the conditions are the same ish I don't think it really matters its to help build a picture of whether the medications are helping and what's the norm for you
