What else causes acid reflux?

Hi to all of you, I hope you are all well

My breathing is brilliant because it's summer and all my winter infections and issues have faded. Which took a bit longer than usual this year but they are all gone now so I can breathe better

But I think I'm getting a bit of acid reflux symptoms I usually get it when I'm stressed but I have nothing to stress about so it can't be that so I was wondering what else could bring on acid reflux?

Reflux is a condition caused by acid rising from the stomach, in my case I have a hiatus hernia which is a common condition for over 50s. The stomach has pushed up through the diaphragm. Your consultant will probably prescribe OMEPRAZOLE. If I go a week without taking one a day I can feeling the indigestion building up. Suggest you ask whether they will work for you. Good luck. I usually take ranitidine for acid reflux but I got taken off it because they didn't think it was necessary for me to be on it permanently

It's long story but I have been fine for a while and there is no stresses atm so I was just wondering what the other causes could be
