Hi, googled a bit and I wonder, is your diagnosis of a 'benign' (benign lymphoid hyperplasia)? I would suggest further research and more consultations with medical professionals about treatment options and daily management.
It seems as though acid reflux could be a factor in the problem but there may be many causes.
It's important to have a good diagnosis because the 'benign' type can be mistaken for other, more dangerous conditions. Hyperplasia is an excessive growth of part of the body, it happens with cancers - three of my family members have had benign and malignant cancers and have been successfully treated.
As I have said before, I have no medical training.
I hope you can find help and advice for your condition, the danger of airway obstruction sounds quite serious, I'm sorry you are suffering so much, good luck, Ollie.
