Hi. Me too morriskelly1 - I was diagnosed with asthma after I got pneumonia when I was 35.

It came on gradually and I just needed a blue inhaler for a good few years but then had to have a brown inhaler as it got worse. I am now 54 and still use my brown inhaler religiously. Luckily I have not had pneumonia again!

That's bad.I sympathise. Did it also leave you with any other ailments? For example I have sampters triad syndrome ( hypersensitivity to aspirin and anti inflammatoris and nasal polyps) resulting in anosmia ( no sense of smell /taste) ?

No I don't think it has. At the moment though I have a very painful chest and a cough, so I do have a bit of a weakness there but not too bad. My sense of smell can be non-existent some days but I have sinusitis and allergies going on too. I also have nasal polyps and have to use nasal sprays to be able to breathe at night!
