GP advice?

this is most likely gonna be more of a rant than anything else but could do with advice if possible.

my PF is down, sitting around 300, doubled my seretide, using regular salbutamol, but PF not low enough to ""need"" pred (finished course from hospital). i'm tired, fed up with coughing thick mucus up, my lungs constantly feel like they're vibrating or rattling or something along those lines, my chest muscles feel strained, I'm constantly coughing, but no, not gonna prescribe any more pred cause my PF isn't ""too low for me"".. i've taken my action plan from my cons to see my gp with & still won't take any notice.

anyone got any advice? try again with gp? practice nurse? cons/specialist nurse?

It might be worth making an appointment to see your GP or asthma nurse about this.

I hope you start to feel better soon

I really feel for you. I've been in exactly the same situation and the sheer frustration of not being listened to nearly drove me nuts. I just kept going back and making a fuss until someone listened to me and changed my medication to Symbicort, which helped me no end. The trouble is, when you feel so rotten it's hard to keep on going back to ask for help when you get sent off each time with a few patronising and totally unhelpful words. Could you see another GP at your surgery? You might find somebody more understanding of your situation.

Good luck
