Eating food

I find every time my asthma is bad i get really breathless when eating and after eating.Not been well since xmas and on daily pred. Does this happen to you even when its not a big meal and when drink also ? Love glynis

yep - also can't be bothered to eat because it's just too much flipping effort and I get too tired.

i have recently become quite breathless after food and end up having ridiculous coughing fits that can last up to 3hrs ! it is very annoying i have no idea what causes this but i would like to find out. hope you are feeling better vsoon love and hugs

I can't eat if the asthma is playing up. I wonder why that is? Are they related?

I also get really out of breath after eating or drinking something hot. Doesn't stop me though! ; )

i get this, i usually just find a long programme to watch (as distraction) and eat really slowly, away from other people who will feel like they're pressuting me to hurry up. i also try to have small frequent meals so i dont feel tight chested because im full.

I must admit that I seem to get short of breath following meals, I now try to time my nebs to coincide with this. The trouble is that I am also a greedy fat git (and on preds) so I can't stop eating

I eat lots of yogurts and was eating around 5 apples a day as love them and done so for years.

but one day had a really bad attack last year after forgetting wash my apple first so have cut then

down to odd one now and then but not made any difference .

Going have to be careful if con keeps me on pred as i get the munchies also on pred xxx

drink plenty of water ur probably hydrated
