hi i'm new here, i had a very bad attack in nov and still not right, still have the very shallow breathing and get out of breath walking from one room to another, one thing i've had and its worrying me is a very cold band across my shoulder blades the docs kept saying my chest was clear, and didn't seem worrird but the cold feeling stayed for a long time then turned into a very bad pains across in the same place, but not all the time i can go of a week or two without it then it comes back the pain can last for a few mins or up to an hour, has anyone had this before? my asthma nurse was no help! am seeing my doc tomorrow and will ask about it, but just thought id ask here, if anyone had this pain with there asthma! also i had an ecg a few weeks back and found out i had a very fast pluse rate but my the doc i saw said it was all the inhalers i was using and didnt say anything more about it!

and now that worrying me too! can anyone had these things before are they todo with astma or something else?

Ps sorry about the bad spellings i'm not a good writer!

thanks

Hi ur doing the right thing getting pains checked out with your dr... Regarding fast pulse, Taking a lot of reliever inhaler can give you A very fast heart rate and shakey hands. These effects wear off as the drug wears off and things return to normal. If your pulse is fast without taking any reliever discuss it with ur gp....

thanks Gussypoo, that has help me a bit, this bout of asthma has been the worse i've had so far, 4 months of it, but i am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel now, for me I get asthma each winter, now my voice is almost back to normal though it does fade if i talk for a while, my breathing is a lot better than it was, I've but still have a fair way to go before it returns to normal, but i'm getting there at long last, now its not so cold outside !
