Anyone on prophylactic antibiotics?

Just wondered if any of you use prophylactic antibiotics as part of your asthma regime?

Maddie has been having a rough ride recently and even the maintenance pred isn't helping her daily symptoms at present. She's been on the antibs for 5 days and we are to keep them up til we see the resp team in 2wks time and then review.

I have been on low dose antibiotics for three months for another issue, several years ago. One of the good side effects was that during this period my asthma was more stable than normal and I had no chest infections or colds during this time....
