Hi everyone,
I haven't posted here in some time. I used to be a regular but have been very busy lately and our families asthma has been under control until recently. I have checked in from time to time to see how everyone is doing though.
My youngest son, who is now 12, has mild to moderate asthma and is well controlled on Flovent. He is recovering from H1N1 and it's been about 10 days now and his cough is constant and terrible. It doesn't respond well to the ventolin and I can't give him too much because it is contraindicated with our heart condition. We have Long QT Syndrome and unfortunately asthma relief medications are on the QT drug list not to take if you have LQTS. It is a real problem for me right now. HELP!! If anyone has any tricks that they do to help with their coughing fits I would sure appreciate the suggestions!
I'm open to any and all tips right about now.
Thanks,
Stevie
