Questions that haunt me!

Can you cry underwater?

How important does a person have to be before they are considered assassinated instead of just murdered?

Why do you have to 'put your two cents in'..... but 'it is only a penny for your thoughts'?Where's that extra penny going to?

Why does a round pizza come in a square box?

What disease did cured hamctually have?

Why is that people say 'slept like a baby' when babies wake up like every two hours?

If Jimmy cracks corn and no one cares,why is there a stupid song about him?

If memory serves me right there was a penny once a penny in the amerrican currency, but i could be wrong, heres some others, why was a shilling called a bob, and a two bob bit called a florin ? Or the irish call a pound a punt, i always thought that it was one of them there things you poled up the thames with your loved one on a tete a tete hmmmmm! Nowt like colloquilisms

Hello, I think I know the answer to the pizza box, square boxes of the same volume stacked take up less space than round boxes; or, stack more compactly?

The coin one has intrigued me too so I looked it up: "the United States one-cent coin, commonly known as a penny, is a unit of currency equaling one one-hundredth of a United States dollar"

So, putting your two cents' worth in is more than giving a penny for someone else's thoughts! The things that amuse us eh! George
