Well my fev1 is 63% and that is considered on the border of mild/moderate.

Thank you HeatherS. The respiratory nurse told me that it was the same reading as two years ago. However I have stopped smoking, but had a chest infection. Maybe when I go again in 2 months , it will be better.

There's a saying that keeps coming back time and time again, everyone is different

One result does not make a diagnosis, there are many factors that the GP, nurse or consultant needs to take into account and it could be that you are able to do many tasks that someone with a higher percentage cannot.

Have a chat with one of the BLF nurses on the helpline when it re-opens this week. They are normally available M-F 10am-6pm on 03000 030 555
