They are doing tests at Cambridge Uni Hospital on adult stem cell to restore lung tissue.

hi puff.thank u for the info please keep us up to date/i have googled sealant stuff as we../its called areoseal i think/in america a mans had it done it were the 1st it says /have u heard of it/anyroad keep cheking ye any news is good news .any 1 on hear heard of a prof peter barnes at inperial college harrogate london.ive googled him.hes head of respatry and copd expert.on 15th an 16th hes heading a conference on copd .im googling as much as i can.no harm there.we dont get any help so we must help or selves and ask /no harm done.take care .

this dreadful disease along with many others will be beaten in the end including through this kind of amazing development. 17% improvement is amazing !

Thanks Martin interesting news. I'm sure I read somewhere else about stem cell research offering hope for lung illness in the future. Proves that research has a part to play in the future health of the nation, and maybe some of the younger victims on this site may get relief of symptoms in future even if no cure is found.
