bit of an update....................

popped on to do an update because i havn't been about for a bit and realised how bad i have been to find lots of lovely messages .... thank you all

first the shock news.

I got a letter from the DWP yesterday telling me i have now been put in the support group, all i did was filled out an ATOS form, no interview or medical, but its taken a lot of pressure off me because my weekly income has doubled!!!!

Now the update...

Saw my consultant last week and, if i am honest, i am really lucky to have such a wonderful doctor in charge of my care,

I am suffering from severe depression and the anti depressants havn't really helped so she is sending me to see a psychiatrist who specialises in COPD patients.

She has told me i have Bronchiectasis as well as emphysema so i now know why i get a lot of pain.

She is arranging for me to have physio so that myself and my carer can be taught how to "shift" the stubborn mucas in my lungs, she is also arranging PR

she told me in no uncertain terms that i need to stop worrying about others and start looking after myself ( this woman definitely has me sussed !! lol)

Dr Angela Jones at wexham park hospital i would like you to know you are an amazing lady, fantastic Doctor, can see through my false front and ( this is the bit i hate) look 10 years younger than you are - thank you so muchxxxx

I have missed you like Krazy! I hope you get the help you need and I look forward to you becoming a regular visitor again. Take care of yourself and don't spend the riches all at once! Love and best wishes. xxx

Great to hear from you. Hey, well done with the DWP - can you come and do my forms please ? ;-)

Dr Jones is right, stop worrying about others and start looking after yourself - especially with the news you've had about having Bronchiectasis too. Wonder if that Dyson fella can help shift the mucus with a smaller version of one of his vac's ?

I never realised you had a 'false front' either, I always thought they were real... :D

Welcome back young lady... xxxxxx

Hi Krazylady lovely to hear from you again and "you'll be awlright mate" xx

Helloooo Krazylady. A pal of mine began to live his own life after counselling for severe depression - he promised himself first before anyone else of something he would do - just for him - that he would enjoy the next day --- Next time I saw him, he had the broadest of smiles and was so enjoying life...no, he didn't have a personality transplant - he still was a good pal - he just added himself as a best pal to himself too. Hope that helps. Best wishes for your broad smile soon. xxx
