There are some pretty amazing webs about this morning. I've just been to fetch my bin in and my fence looks amazing with all the webs white with frost. Wish I could post a pic

When I was a kid, waiting for the school bus, if we could see lots of webs in the hedge by the bus stop we used to get a long thin bendy twig and make a tennis raquet shape. We then collected webs on our 'bats' and you could bounce a stone on them!

hard white frost ?hoar frost has stayed with us all day. I won't go out as I start coughing but like looking out of the window. It looks so beautiful!

Do spiders feel the cold ? I worry about the ducks on the canal - (view from my back door) and wonder if I should knit them some socks and maybe a thermal vest to keep them cosy ?

Thankful to be indoors keeping the chill off the old chest! Roll on the springtime ........
