How long after chemo complete before ct scan normally

Hi There

After chemotherapy a CT Scan will usually be done to see how effective the treatment has been, this will depend on the dosage of the chemotharpy and even at what rate the tumour is growing.

I can't seem to find any specific guidelines on when a CT scan should be done following chemotherapy and it may come down to the consultants preferences.

I would suggest discussing directly with the consultant.

thanks Jo. will contact onc as nothing happening after 4 weeks, was told 3/4 weeks after chemo.
