Do you spend a alot on stamps over the festive period?
Do you receive Pension Credit, Employment and Support Allowance or Incapacity Benefit?
Royal Mail this christmas are offering 36 stamps in either books of 6 or 12 at christmas prices this year between 6 November and Christmas Eve.
Take along to your nearest Post Office branches with you a letter from Department of Work and Pensions or a Post Office Card Account statement. The documents must be dated within the past 12 months and must name the relevant benefits.
So give it a go and save some pennies this christmas.
Now that Terrel has mentioned the C word (Christmas) just wondered if any forum members had any good tips for saving some pennies at christmas that they would like to share with us all.
thanks for that bit of info, will pass on to my freinds. However sadly I think the way most of us are going to save is by not posting cards and parcels this year due to price rises. Happy christmas shopping to those who can manage it.
have made absolutely huge profits last year and increased them even more the first 6 months of this year.
There was just no need to increase the price of stamps at all ,leave alone the huge increases they have made.
We will not be posting any cards this year ,our friends and family will understand ,if enough people take this stance the royal mail will also understand ,robbing sod's that they are.
