Good Morning

Do you spend a alot on stamps over the festive period?

Do you receive Pension Credit, Employment and Support Allowance or Incapacity Benefit?

Royal Mail this christmas are offering 36 stamps in either books of 6 or 12 at christmas prices this year between 6 November and Christmas Eve.

Take along to your nearest Post Office branches with you a letter from Department of Work and Pensions or a Post Office Card Account statement. The documents must be dated within the past 12 months and must name the relevant benefits.

So give it a go and save some pennies this christmas.

As always if you have an questions please contact the Helpline on 03000 030 555

Best Wishes

Hi

Now that Terrel has mentioned the C word (Christmas) just wondered if any forum members had any good tips for saving some pennies at christmas that they would like to share with us all.

Kind regards

Carol

hello there,

saving some pennies, rather than buying a card and stamp for Mark this year, could I wish him a happy C by way of messaging it hare this yuletide

I can't afford presents but I have got wrapping paper at half price

merry C everybody

Noticed the stamp offer in my local post office it is stamps at 2011 prices if you are on the qualifying benefits that Terrel listed. Happy C to all

thanks for that bit of info, will pass on to my freinds. However sadly I think the way most of us are going to save is by not posting cards and parcels this year due to price rises. Happy christmas shopping to those who can manage it.

The royal mail

have made absolutely huge profits last year and increased them even more the first 6 months of this year.

There was just no need to increase the price of stamps at all ,leave alone the huge increases they have made.

We will not be posting any cards this year ,our friends and family will understand ,if enough people take this stance the royal mail will also understand ,robbing sod's that they are.
