Oxygen users & Conjunctivitis

Hi All,

I am on oxygen, mainly for overnight use.

I keep getting Conjunctivitis in one eye & am begining to think it is from the Oxygen.

I opten wake with the tubing dislodged & wonder if Conjunctivitis is being caused by the draft!

I wonder if an eye mask might stop the problem?

Does anyone else suffer from this?

The more I think about it the more I am sure it’s the draft.

I had a look on NHS choices website & I don’t think I have “infective conjunctivitis”

as no one else at home gets it.

My son is never too worried about who’s flannel & towel he uses & he has never caught it!

So I think I must have “irritant conjunctivitis “.

Wont we look posh with "Eye Masks" on!!

For years now I have had a right eye infection at least 4 times per year. go to docs all the time he said it was the herpi simplex virus???

Whats the chances of that.
