Sorry haven't blogged for a few days, been sorting house out for the builders to come in and do some work for us. I am having a shower put in the downstairs bathroom then my bedroom is having a makeover too...I shall be very posh!!

No:1 son got home safe and sound from his adventures....he had an amazing time a real "trip of a lifetime" , he's been whitewater rafting, hiked and stayed on a glacier, done mountain rescue training, swam in an alpine lake and much, much more.

I am trying to pack for the hols as well as empty my bedroom...good job hubby has friday off to help out. I'm not looking forward to packing up the van, with luggage for 6, 2 x wheelchairs, 2 x bedrests and mum's walker!! Hubby says it'll be ok as he spent his youth playing Tetris lol! at least the surf boards are out of the equasion as we not going costal this time!

the sun is shinning here today which is lovely...long may it last!

I'm going to pop out for a coffee with mum shortly...need a break from the building noise.....we are going to our local garden centrre as they have a sale on....I'll have to try hard not to buy any plants as we are going away!
