Really spring is not that far away, once Chrismas and New Year is over. s clear run to spring. Took me an age to paint this. not slept for four days, thank you Mr Pred.
I rarely paint winter scences, bad enough in reality. However I will at some stage soon, paint a winter scence with the Northern Lights.
Ern! Throw a bunny in there and when I get my Christmas gift (money) from my aunt I will buy it. That ok? I am on Pred daily, never had it affect my sleep tho. Grab the Scotch!
Love it. We live in sheep country. And it is a bad (and unusual) day when I cannot see sheep on the hillside from my bed. Thank you. I think we are a nation of sheep lovers.

What a joyful painting. I always found with pred, if I took it first thing I could still sleep come night time. I hope it’s helping you to feel better.
Thank you rosco - I am a lot better than I was, this time I used my rescue pack at lunch time, probably a bad idea.
Not if you needed. Better to speed up recovery and catch up on sleep when you can. I’m glad to hear things are improving though.
Very pretty Ern, l love Springtime. Pete takes 10mg pred each morning and is ok but I know it can interfere with sleep. Wishing you well. Xx❤️
How about an interior scene Ern , fire , sofa , lamp dog by the fire 🤔. Not your usual style , I know , but I think your style would suit it x

Oooh I’ll look forward to that Ern , my favourite season used to be spring but as I’ve aged I’ve learned to embrace all the seasons so right now I’m loving “cosy” and I’ve loved watching rain since I was a child - I used to drag my rocking chair into the vestibule and sit for hours watching rain bounce off the cobbles 😍
Gosh Cobbles - None left now. To be honest I never like the rain, I like heat and warm.I did like the rocking chair, I think most kids did. I remember first TV wehad, Q Elizabeth Corronation was on when we got it, in black and white of course, which I likes,
My daughter has loved rain since she was tiny. Her idea of fun was playing in a muddle puddle while holding her umbrella in the pouring rain. Today she loves wet weather above all other kinds. A rain lover is called a pluviophile!🥰
Oh thanks for that info , I never knew I had a title 😃. My son is one too , I once looked through the window to see him standing across the street ,in the rain ,with his foot under a broken drain pipe fascinated by the water pouring over the top of his welly 😂
Thanks ern roll on spring I say ,it did feel like it on Friday walking along the beach in the sunshine on the south coast but the cold wind yesterday soon got that heavy coat out again. Love your uplifting painting and even though pred does keep you awake you have some lovely work to show for it. Hope you can feel better soon 🤞

A welcome sight on a cold winters morn Ern. Spring is one of my favourite times of the year, when the plants are just poking their heads above the soil looking for the sun. I was put on 60mg pred in August for suspected gca and must admit it was horrid not sleeping, even taking them at 7am , I was still awake all night. Hope you are almost finished your course x
What a beautiful painting to brighten our days Ern. I love the colours and the scene. Pred affects me like that so now I take a sleeping tablet if really bad and bouncing around. Hope you’re feeling better soon. Xx
Thank you watergazer , I like bright paintings. I am a poor sleeper best of times, I take a Zopicloneat night, did not seem to help much with the Pred in me, still not long to go with them. I hope you are on better side xx

Thank you Dotty - I so love spring. I love my spring plantings, Tulips.daffs and certain saxigrage , not forgetting the crocus.
Sedum we used to be able to grow when we had a clay soil garden. not we never get a flower. use to love the yellow.
Yes as soon as I see those flowers popping up I think better weather to come. Spring and Autumn are my favourite garden seasons. xx
