Someoneβs gorgeous. Hope youβre enjoying your weekend. Xxxβ€οΈππ©·πππ©΅
I had to look at some more of your photos, because they remind me of my favourite place in England. And then I found your one of Beaulieu river and it is the same area. What a lovely place to live! And with your 2 dogs. I am going to look at more when I am struggling with my anxiety, so thank you Blackbird9 for sharing your photos.
Is this one of the ponies? She looks pregnant, if it is a she... I want to like every photo I see, but that might be a little annoying for you, with so many alerts π
Hi yes I live around Beaulieu area ...Where are you from yourself ...I'm a dog walker for work I have COPD and been walking 10 years now prior to that I served 35 years in the NHS as a scrub nurse ...
All ponies on the forest are female they let the stallions out once a year for mating then drive them home after 8 weeks or so ....Dates are generally between end of April to end of June for mating .... she's not pregnant just feeding up after having her foal whose around 5 months now π₯°
Thank you for the info, I didn't know they only let the stallions out once a year. She's certainly prepared for winter. I live in Somerset, not far from Bath. I grew up in Wiltshire and I only discovered the forest at 19 when I learned to drive. And I fell in love with it. I don't have a car now, but when my mental health improves, I want to catch a train to Brockenhurst and stay over for a few days to go walking.
I am looking at ways I can do voluntary dog walking when I am well enough. I'd love to be a dog walker as a job, but my asthma would stop me in the summer.
I love all places in the forest and I have visited Beaulieu a few times. Had a boat trip on the beautiful river. You have the dream job in a dream place and what a great way to keep fit.
I have worked for the NHS also a few times, when they were responsible for the residential care of people with learning disabilities. I did the first year training of Registered Nurse training for this sector at Tatchbury Mount hospital (1980's), which was near Totton. Had several placements in the forest. (Had to leave as my anxieties became worse, I now know from cPTSD).
Your photos are going to mean even more to me now. βΊοΈ So, is the pretty girl your dog?
You could try guide dogs for the blind. My husband volunteers for them and takes a guide dog out once a week for free running. The only chance she gets to be off the lead.
Yes Sadie the black and white ones mine she's a Sprolllie so half springer half collie ... she's got the manners and the face of a springer very soft and gentle but her coats quite collie in places I have her coat trimmed every 8 weeks as she's a mud warrior ...I know Thatcbury mount well used to go and do the electric shock treatment list there when it too much for some patients ...
Try the cinnamon trust and volunteer walk for people who have pets or volunteer for a local kennel they are very good at taking volunteering workers on ...keep posting and enjoy the group xx
Sadie is a beauty. I have heard of a lot of spaniel mixes, but the first time I've heard of a sprollie. I tried a cat rescue last year, but I wasn't ready to mix with the people there (I love cats & dogs equally.)
My asthma isn't severe, but this group has such a great feel to me. (Also, Dysfunctional Breathing Pattern)
The care for each other is so evident everyday. Very uplifting, despite individual's health challenges.
Don't give up trying ... I have COPD stage 4 and athsma .. I was diagnosed 9 or 10 years ago ...
I knew I had it but was in denial for a lot of years because I enjoyed smoking.
I chose to stop the same day I was diagnosed and enjoy the occasional vape now ...
I started the business around the same time and though some days are very hard I still enjoy x
what an amazing thing to see. And what a great photo . Thank you for sharing it with us.
gorgeous. I used to show my dad your photos, I lost him this week. He loved horses and would have been mighty impressed at this one. Thank you for sharing again. Take care π¦x
So sorry to read your sad news Bingofox, my condolences to you and your family x
Captured at a perfect moment! I donβt know how you do it, Bb. You are certainly very talented with the camera xx
Thankyou so much not heard much from you recently hope your well π
I wonder if she was so thirsty she drank too quickly and it came down her nose lol , great photo BB x
It's possible she might have an infection in there and it's causing a blockage or inflammation which would cause it ... Or maybe she's just snorted too much they tend to suck water up through pursed lips ..like us doing our breathing stuff π
Sheβs looking right at you too. Excellent shot. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing
Take care
Wendy xx
