A rough couple of months

Hi everyone, this has been a rollercoaster couple of months! I went for my 6 week post pneumonia xray last week, I thought it would not be good as I had remained breathless and very tired. Radiographer called someone to review it and the next thing I know is a transfer to Respiratory HDU, IVs, monitors, antibiotics and oxygen.

Gradually weaned me down from my oxygen but could not maintain my sats levels until the consultant decided my attainability would have to be reduced to 88%_ 92%. This I am happy to say I was able to do and afte 6 days I got home yesterday 🥳

Not such good news is the lung fibrosis is progressing. They talked about antifibrotics but nothing prescribed. Happy to try them but maybe I have gone past the time when they would be beneficial??

Any how the staff were great, and I am delighted to be home and able to amble about in the back garden today. The sun is actually shining. 🚶‍♀️🌞

Take care everyone X

I'm so sorry that you had a very challenging episode, Blyth1. Take plenty of rest and make a full recovery now, and try not to worry about any results on the scan.. x
