cyclophosphamide

hi everyone

Anyone on cyclophosphamide infusions for lung disease and had the Covid jab? How did you feel? I’ve asked my consultant and he says it’s ok to go ahead but I have had such bad reactions I’m hesitant.

I don't blame you being hesitant Barbs52 if you have had bad reactions and have allergies. I had the first few lots of covid and wasn't very good after the last two . I had a bad reaction after my shingles vaccine in July and have decided not to have any more vaccines but that is a personal choice which you have to make yourself. I make sure that I always use a nasal guard when going out as I have low immunity being on Methotrexate for rheumatoid and keep well away from people with coughs and colds. I try to have a good diet which also helps. Good luck on whatever you decide x

You have to do what is right for you. My daughter talked me into having the shingles vaccine as she was worried about me getting this. After talking to one of my sisters she told me that we never had chicken pox as kids so could never have shingles and didn't need to have the vaccine lol x
