Can you help with our breathlessness survey?

A lung condition diagnosis can help explain why people feel breathless, but it doesn’t go deep enough. Scientists and researchers have barely scratched the surface about what exactly breathlessness is, why people struggle to catch their breath, and most importantly, how we can go about finding a solution.

Today, we’re asking you to take the first step towards changing that.

We’re looking for people to identify the top 10 questions that research should address why people become breathless.

Your input will help shape the work scientists conduct in the future. Fill out our quick survey today and share your thoughts on what research should prioritise.

Thank you for your help

yes , did it .

Difficult to choose 10 ….i could have ticked most of them .

Coincidentally, ended up in A and E at 5 am after losing control of my asthma ….told my O2 levels were fine , but tried to explain that didn’t always relate to breathlessness and breathing difficulties . Hard to do when talking is difficult . Given antibiotics and sent home . Been using my nebuliser since to try and ease panic and breathlessness .

You're so right about breathlessness not always relating to O2 levels! Hospital kept upping my oxygen supply when actually I was experiencing hypercapnia! xx

Done! I would have liked to have attended the workshop but it costs far too much to travel to (and around) London. I've signed up for additional research though!
