Dunno really. You might be able to get a wedge to put under the mattress and/or a pair of bed raisers but you'd probablyhave to get via referral to Occupational Therapist. Clothing is a different matter. Plenty of inexpensive cosy wear available in cheaper outlets like Primark (we're not supposed to advertise so I might have to delete that shop), thermal socks, wear layers?

I got a wedge pillow from Amazon. It does help once you get used to sleeping upright. Good luck.

how about one of those triangular pillows that is designed to support you sitting up in bed? Im not sure who provides them but a quick search on Ebay will probably find you a supplier?

Hi try the Red Cross as they do hire out free and inexpensive items you can loan and purchase after.also look on marketplace some free adjustable beds can be available sometimes

I will try that. It's suprising the things that don't come to you, until somebody jogs your mind x

Invest in some marks & spencers HEATGEN Thermals - they're great, and keep you warm and cosy!

I have a wheelchair and Walker along with other aids provided by occupational therapy so I guess it’s worth enquiring about a wedge pillow or adjustable back rest for your bed. A friend of mine has just been provided with a hospital type bed so you can get most things.

it seems to vary depending where you are. I asked if occupational health could let me borrow a wedge pillow to try it out (knowing they don’t give anything away here, not even wheelchairs) but I was told they don’t even lend things (I bought a wedge pillow and used it one night only) Using a hot water bottle in bed is great. I put mine in bed to warm the sheets and pyjamas, then make the hot water bottle again when I go to bed. Wearing cosy socks in bed also helps. 👍

Charity shops are great for bargains. My wife got me a hospital style wheeled bedside table like the ones you get in hospitals for £3. Eat all my meals off it, and it's a useful computer table.

I invested in a bed that will raise me up and raise my legs when my feet swell but a good wedge pillow will do the trick.

You could put on your xmas and birthday gift list an electric throw, a rechargeable gilet (a friend has one & said it wasn't too expensive), an electric blanket is amazing and they should be cheaper in the summer. My sister gifted me her old single one, she'd bought it to try one out & has now bought a double one - their must be loads of those laying around unwanted. My local Red Cross shop sells used electrical goods so some charity shops do & some don't. As for raising the head of the bed, I've known people use a few books 📚 to try that.

Charity shops for warmer clothes (if you can get out).

Summer arrived yesterday, I hope that helps too
