give me strength
I have to strongly disagree. Vaccines have saved so many lives. Ignorance is bliss?
I would have the booster. Perhaps your circumstances have changed, or something in your medical notes. I feel the 2 bouts of covid I have had would have been a lot worse if I hadn't had my jabs.
If you dont want vaccinated, just bin the letter. I for one am delighted to be offered boosters.
I understand your frustration, I also get regular requests to have a booster despite being injured by first jab, so guessing they don’t check records. Delete it or put in the bin! Enjoy the tennis 😊
I think these reminds are sent in a block and don't get taken of until you respond by having the jab. Just ignore them x
Izb1 is right, computers cannot tell who is anti vaccination and who is extremely grateful for the invitation. If it doesn't affect you, just ignore.
I have not had an invitation yet and am worried I may have to fight to get one xx
Hi! I am not eligible by age, being only 72, but I went onto the NHS app and ticked the box indicating that my immune system is compromised. My Bronchiectasis has worsened recently and Azythromycin has been suggested to ward off infections in future. To me this means that I ought to be eligible for the vaccination even if I can’t prove it. Using the app I was able to book a jab and once at the surgery I explained my circumstances and they gave it to me without a fuss. So don’t wait for an invite. Book your jab, go prepared to explain yourself, taking any medical proof you have just in case, and my guess is that you won’t have a problem. If they do turn you away then at least you have tried. Good luck!
I wish I had been invited. I’m just recovering from covid. The Covid itself was just like a very nasty head cold, but me being me, it has caused a very nasty chest infection. On antibiotics and Prednisone - which I could well do without.
My husband, on the other hand, get twice yearly vaccines. If I hadn’t tested him, no-one would ever know he had it. He has had a very easy ride with it.
I've not had the vaccine and never will have it, 14 years working at AZ and from day dot it was drilled into to us why it takes roughly 10 years to get to market and they wanted me yo take an experimental drug no thanks, and they truth is finally coming out about the serious side affects and death. My uncle had a heart attack 3 weeks after having the jab.I've had covid 2 and I was fine after a couple of days on both occasions
I will point out I'm not telling anyone not to have it as its an individual choice
If you don't want to have the vaccine then don't have it!
The health board won't come round to your place to get you and physically force you there if you don't want to!
